Elliot was born and raised in New York. After earning his Bachelor’s degree from Baruch College in Manhattan, he took a position at the largest direct mail catalog company in the country. In just a few short months he advanced quickly from account management to sales. In 1992 Elliot opened his own advertising agency on Long Island, specializing in print and broadcast corporate communications, catalog production and website development.
In 2008 he created an internet based company called Vintage Eyeglasses Online specializing in the sale of classic eyeglass frames from the 1950’s and ‘60’s. Over the next nine years, as president and COO, Elliot used his expertise in marketing and website development to make VEO the premier source of vintage frames in the industry.
Elliot learned about Charleston from a former client (and now very dear friend) who moved to Daniel Island from New York 10 years ago. After just a few visits, he fell in love with the Charleston area – so much so, that he decided to sell the internet business and make the move to South Carolina.
In 2012 Elliot and his wife of 28 years bought a home at Dunes West, a beautiful golf community located in Mt. Pleasant.

Elliot was an excellent partner for our family. On the selling side he did a thorough market analysis, made valuable presale suggestions to maximize our profit and set realistic targets for activity. He built a custom marketing site, drove traffic through maniac networking and provided special product information to potential buyers on flooring and neighborhood differentiators. One thing he did that was very different from the other realtors I know is that he was present for all of our showings so he was readily available to answer questions and provide insight on the selling features of our house. With our buyers, this is what ultimately sold our house (well under the average number of days in our community and at our target price!)
On the buying side he listened actively, developed organized showing schedules and helped us process our feedback and feelings about each property. He was readily available, and would get us access to hot properties right away. He was quick to point out potential issues with properties once he got to know us, even mentioning property features that would impact our recreational schedules and traffic patterns. Ultimately his negotiating skills helped us secure the lot of our dreams through a pretty dicey timing requirement. He has stayed in constant contact with the builder and has been at our side for construction meetings. He is an incredible partner!
