According to an article in Venturebeat.com, Charleston is one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S., Charleston, South Carolina is now the No. 1 mid-sized metro for millennials, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. As of 2016, the metro area was growing at three times the rate of the U.S. population. Yikes a flood of Millenials...we need to figure that generation out.

Charleston Regional Business Journal reports Charleston was among the top 5 ranked for overall best places to find a job. The study was done by WalletHub. Check out The Charleston Regional Business Journal for lots of great information about our wonderful area. They do a great job of reporting on business related issues. In the 13 years we have been here corporate America seems to have discovered our area. New manufacturing facilities for Boeing. Mercedes, and Volvo to name a few.

I find myself this morning sitting in the waiting room at a car dealer. Just the thought of visiting a car dealer brings a high level of dread. Images of sales guys standing in the parking lot smoking the boredom away, dirty service areas, dirty bathrooms and worn out service guys who are under orders to get sales up in the service department. I would normally ask my wife to take it in, but this is going to be a Baker Motors experience.
