The readers of Conde Nast Traveler have once again named Charleston South Carolina the World's Friendliest City! Couple this recognition with Travel + Leisure's World's Best City Award for the third straight year and it's easy to see why the world is flocking to our charming city. In 2015 over 5 million people visited Charleston and apparently we treated them well.

If you live in the Holy City you experience this on a daily basis, just something you expect. What is interesting though is how many other top rankings Charleston has garnered in the last 5 years. Here are just a few:

We recently mentioned the new performing arts center coming to Daniel Island. Now an exciting new restaurant is coming to Daniel Island! Dockery’s is a 10,000 square foot restaurant that will offer live music and its own on-site brewery! Located on Island Park Drive, Dockery’s is in a prime development location next to the recently announced Daniel Island Performing Arts Center.  Dockery’s is owned by the restaurant group, Concentrics Restaurants, a James Beard nominated, nationally acclaimed restaurant group based in Atlanta, Georgia. The restaurant set to open in Summer 2017 looks to be a destination restaurant on the island. The restaurant will serve lunch, dinner, and a weekend brunch. This should be a hot spot for all ages!
